FOR EDUCATION

More than 200,000 students who sit for KCPE do not transition into secondary schools. The dropout rate is contributed greatly by financial difficulty. These children are robbed of their chance at formal education and, consequently, financial independence.

Malala Yousafzai, Nobel Prize laureate, said, “One teacher, one book, one pen can change the world.” We couldn’t agree more. We believe that keeping children in school is vital. With education, they can change their lives and, who knows, the world as well.

We have a number of initiatives in progress including sponsoring education for children, and donating food to schools. We are in conversations to set up clean-up activities, paint local schools and provide an educative campaign around key issues such as the environment. We aim to continue helping brilliant children from disadvantaged backgrounds stay in school by helping to pay for their school fees.
