HEROES THROUGH SPORT!

The 2021 Friends of Karura anniversary race was the third edition of the annual race. It was organized with an aim of celebrating the work that Kenya Forest Services and Friends of Karura do in maintaining a healthy and clean environment for all. The race was also being held in support of Food Banking Kenya who distribute food parcels to vulnerable families in Githogoro, just to the north of Karura every fortnight. Tropical Heat is happy to have supported such a noble cause that raises awareness on environmental conservation, brings people together in support of vulnerable communities and at the same time, highlights the commendable work that personnel at Karura and at Kenya Forest Service do.
