HEROES THROUGH SPORT!

Kilifi Ultimate Bikers is a cycling group of talented, self-driven youths in Kilifi County. The main aim of the team is to advocate for road safety awareness, environment conservation, community outreach, and, nurturing of young talents with bikes while promoting physical fitness and a healthy lifestyle. Tropical Heat partnered with Kilifi Ultimate Bikers during their 1KM-3 Trees Cycling Challenge, a cycling event organized with an aim of creating awareness on environmental conservation and reverse the adverse effects of global warming. The goal of the 25 participating cyclists was to cover a total of 780km translating to 2500 trees planted across five counties; Kilifi, Taita-Taveta, Kitui, Meru, and Isiolo. The passion exhibited by the cyclists inspired Tropical Heat to support their cause with our snacks. A Hero pursues a cause relentlessly and this is what the cyclists did!
