HEROES FOR THE COMMUNITY!
Henrik Ibsen once said that ‘A community is like a ship; everyone ought to be prepared to take the helm’. Taking the helm may take different forms, from starting self-help groups, to ensuring equitable distribution of resources, to implementing community outreach initiatives and even distributing the basic needs to the poor. All these are acts of heroism because they make a difference in the lives of everyone who is involved, whether they are receiving help or giving help. Tropical Heat is happy to support such Heroic acts and therefore donated snacks to the committee of Limuru Court Users during their visit to three children’s homes; Utugi Children’s Home, Joseph Kimani Children’s Home and Hope Children’s Home. Are you taking the helm or helping others to take the helm in your community? Share your Heroic story with us on www.beahero.info and stand a chance to be rewarded!
