HEROES FOR THE COMMUNITY!

“The ultimate purpose of life is to be of service” ~ Sri Sri Ravi Shankar. Founded in 1993, Rehema Children’s home houses more than 30 orphaned or vulnerable children from Korogocho slums. The home runs a daily feeding program and also provides basic primary education, vocational training, and counseling services to these children. Tropical Heat partnered with the Anonymous Givers group during their visit to the home and together, we spent time mentoring the children and prepared meals for them. Tropical Heat made a donation of our tantalizing snacks and the children also received shoes and clothes. The joy and excitement we witnessed among the children was evidence that this act of service made a difference! Tropical Heat champions HEROES such as the Anonymous Givers Group because they go the extra mile to offer a helping hand, touch a life and make their EVERY ACT COUNT!
