HEROES FOR THE ENVIRONMENT!

Did you know that human activity is one of the major causes of environmental degradation? Have you ever wondered how your own activities might be driving this? As a group, we endeavour to inspire action among individuals toward the protection of the environment from further degradation. There is a common adage that says, ‘Charity begins at home’ and in line with this, we participated in a community clean-up exercise together with the residents of the Redhill area in Limuru. We collected the litter that had been disposed of irresponsibly along the major access roads in addition to providing refreshments for the team of Heroes for the Environment. As a follow-up to our initiative to place dustbins across the city to encourage proper waste disposal, we trust that we challenged members of our community to always make a conscious decision to dispose of their household waste in an eco-friendly manner.
