HEROES FOR EDUCATION!

Libraries are considered to be treasure troves and there is a common saying by J.K Rowling that says, ‘when in doubt, go to the library’. How well do you know your libraries? Did you know that there are approximately 60 public libraries across the country and that the McMillan Memorial Library accounts for the largest public library?  Tropical Heat is honoured to donate 142 books to Book Bunk Trust in support of their mission to restore some of Nairobi’s most iconic public Libraries; McMillan Memorial Library on Banda Street and two of its branches; Kaloleni Library and Eastlands Library. Commissioned by our CEO, the 142 books consist of a rich mix of Memoirs, Autobiographies, Fiction, Self-help and Children’s Books! Each of these books is a resource tool that will enrich the experience of everyone that visits the libraries and transcend barriers to information access! Tropical Heat is proud to be able to contribute towards the creation of more resourceful knowledge hubs that members of the general public can tap into for generations to come!
