Tropical Heat believes in the power of Education to transform individuals and communities. As we strive to grow our impact footprint across Kenya within our 6 impact pillars, we understand and are appreciative of the fact that access to information and knowledge hubs is crucial. Tropical Heat has partnered with Book Bunk Trust, a non-profit organization founded in 2017 with an aim of restoring some of Nairobi’s most iconic public libraries into more than just repositories. Book Bunk is working to transform public libraries into inclusive sites of knowledge production, shared experiences, cultural leadership, community empowerment and information exchange.

Tropical Heat has donated 140 books to the Kaloleni and Eastlands Libraries and will sponsor the acquisition of bookshelves for all three libraries. Tropical Heat is also the Official Snacks Partner for Book Bunk's community engagement programmes including Music Bunk, Art Bunk, Dance Bunk and Film Screenings. Music Bunk at Eastlands Library (Makadara) Libraries hold a wealth of information that can be passed across generations. Together with Book Bunk, we are inspiring a culture of reading across communities to spark an interest and commitment in lifelong learning.
