Through the Heroes brand, Tropical Heat aims to support impact activities across Kenya and raise awareness on initiatives that make the world a better place. With an impact footprint that spans 6 core areas and Passion for various Sports including Cycling, Tropical Heat is committed to nurturing young talent through its Sports impact pillar.

At our Headquarters in Redhill, Limuru, Tropical Heat awarded Jordan Schleck with a Cervélo Carbon Bike and cycling kit and pledged support towards advancing his cycling career; a package valued at approximately Ksh 1.44 million. The Cervélo bike recently won the Tour de France men’s category. Jordan Schleck is a 4 times (2014 to 2017) National Champion in the Ugandan Junior category and has an excellent track record in international races, ranking top among some of the best riders in most Kenyan races. Currently in training with Safari Simbaz Training Camp; a brainchild of David Kinjah, one of Kenya’s most experienced and acclaimed cyclists, Schleck’s potential to become a world champion is unlimited.

When making the presentation, Tropical Heat Chairman Nilesh Shah, an ardent cyclist himself and advocate of cycling in East Africa noted that “Jordan is a rising star and a hero for East Africa and Tropical Heat Group is honoured to be able to contribute towards his achievements. We trust that this kit will enable Jordan to push limits, and raise the bar because this is what being a Hero is all about”.

Tropical Heat also prides itself in being one of the first corporate institutions in Kenya to form a Cycling Club comprising of personnel that has since its inception in June 2022, participated in various impact races, covering an approximated 7,000 kms and continues to support the Tropical Heat Cycling Academy in Uganda.
