HEROES FOR THE COMMUNITY!

Young Jewels is a non-governmental organization founded with an aim of empowering school-going teenagers with essential life skills to help them stay in class, complete their education and make better decisions in life. The organization has grown to adopt 11 schools with thousands of learners graduating from their mentorship program every year. Young Jewels Foundation has also been at the forefront of the Menstrual Hygiene Management agenda through their advocacy and research programs. On Mashujaa Day, the organization was celebrating 42 community change champions who have been at the forefront of their mentorship program by highlighting their success stories. Inspired by the milestones that the organization has attained and the commitment of their change champions towards impacting the lives of school-going children across Kenya, Tropical Heat partnered with them by providing them with appreciation hampers. This was Tropical Heat’s way of highlighting Heroic acts and celebrating HEROES; people who in every way make the world a better place by ensuring that their EVERY ACT COUNTS! BE A HERO!
